Wolves have already played their fair share of matches in the 2019/20 campaign but tonight’s fixture against Manchester United is just their second of this Premier League season.
Eight days ago, Nuno Santo’s men opened their top-flight account with a 0-0 draw away at Leicester City but after finishing seventh in the league last season, they’ve had to deal with the strenuous matter of Europa League qualification.
They have already played four European matches stretching across the continent from heading over the Irish Sea to breeze past Crusaders to then having to endure a 6,700-odd mile round trip to Armenia and back to demolish Pyunik by eight goals.
On Thursday night, Santo rung the changes as his side had a four-goal advantage going into the second leg which means a number of his usual first-choice stars should be fit and raring to go for this game.
Though, the Portuguese boss may have an eye on Thursday considering the club are just one step away from reaching the Europa League group stages, that’s if they can get past Serie A outfit Torino over two more legs.
Here’s how we predict they lineup tonight…
Of the side that featured against Pyunik, only captain Conor Coady and Joao Moutinho should keep their places meaning Santo would revert back to the side which drew against Leicester.
The 45-year-old tends to stick with the same sort of side for their Premier League matches so the likes of Patrick Cutrone, Pedro Neto and Jesus Vallejo who all made their full starting debuts on Thursday night will likely return to the bench.

Neto particularly impressed with a goal and an assist on debut but it’s not in Santo’s style to give him a continued opportunity to impress as he favours his tried and tested regular starting XI in the Premier League – nine players started 30 games or more last season.
That means Willy Boly, as well as the key attacking duo of Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota will probably return to feature against United.
Jonny and Matt Doherty should also come back into the side at wing-back with Ruben Neves joining Moutinho and Leander Dendoncker in the middle.
