UEFA has confirmed the match official team for the final, with Frenchman Francois Letexier leading a team of accomplished referees at the Olympiastadion on July 14.

Francois Letexier is a UEFA elite-level referee who also works as a court bailiff. Vastly experienced, he is a FIFA referee and was appointed by UEFA to officiate the Euro 2024 final between England and Spain.
Born in Brittany, France on April 23, 1989, Letexier began his career in Ligue 1 in 2016 and graduated as an international referee with FIFA a year later in 2017. His first international match was the 2018 meeting between Bulgaria and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Prior to the Euro 2024 final, Letexier had officiated 65 official UEFA matches, including games in the UEFA Youth League, Europa League, Champions League and European Championship.

Prior to the Euro 2024 final, Letexier had been a match referee for three games at the tournament – two group games and one round-of-16 game.
The first game he refereed was the showdown between Croatia and Albania, in which he issued four yellow cards. He then took charge of the game between Denmark and Serbia, which also saw him put four names into his book.
He has previously encountered Spain in the tournament, having been referee for their 4-1 last-16 win over Georgia, a game in which he showed Alvaro Morata a yellow card.
As well as taking charge of three games, Letexier was also the fourth official in the opening game between Germany and Scotland.
In all, he flashed 10 yellow cards and no red cards during his three games.
Has Francois Letexier refereed at major tournaments before?
Letexier has run the rule over plenty of big games at major tournaments. Most recently, he was part of the referee team for the 2024 Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund as the fourth official.
Before that, he was the referee for the 2023 UEFA Super Cup game between Manchester City and Sevilla, as well as serving as VAR in the 2021 Europa League final between Villarreal and Manchester United.
He was the referee in the 2019 UEFA Youth League final between Porto and Chelsea, and he also has experience taking charge of several Coupe de France finals.
