Nikica Jelavic scored 21 goals in 69 appearances for Everton between 2012 and 2014, having joined the club from Scottish giants Rangers.
The forward managed 16 Premier League goals for the Toffees – including nine in 13 appearances in the second half of the 2011-12 campaign.
Overall, Jelavic had a decent time on Merseyside before leaving for Hull City.
And it seems that a number of Everton fans actually miss the Croatian, who turned 34 years of age on Tuesday.
Indeed, in response to a birthday message on the club’s official Twitter account, there were plenty of supporters who took the chance to praise the attacker.
Jelavic is still going strong – currently turning out for Guizhou Hengfeng, who operate in the second tier of Chinese football following their relegation from the Super League last year.
