Leeds have had a busy week in the transfer window with the additions of Ian Poveda and Jean-Kevin Augustin, but fans aren’t bored of transfer talk just yet.
In fact, there has been a significant discussion taking place about loanee Ben White, after The Athletic journalist Phil Hay relayed a story which suggests the defender is a firm part of Brighton’s future plans.
The centre-back has been in impressive form for the Whites this season, winning the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for August earlier in the season, and it hasn’t taken him long to become a popular figure at Elland Road, with some supporters suggesting he could be an England player one day.

Added to that, his performances have seen him gain attention from the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United, though some amongst the Leeds fanbase feel they could have a good chance of signing the 22-year-old if they win promotion.
Operating as a Premier League outfit who are able to offer the youngster regular football would certainly be very appealing for White, but it is questionable that Brighton would let him go.
A fee of around £25m has been mentioned previously, too, and it may be doubtful that the West Yorkshire outfit would be willing to stump up such a fee, even if they would have access to the riches of the Premier League.
However, some supporters feel he should be the club’s main target if promotion is achieved, one fan suggesting White is worth his potential cost due to his quality, while another argues that the Seagulls would allow him to move on if the finances were right.
